An integral part of the experience and success of students in the RES program is the close working relationship you have with your supervisor(s). As such, you and your supervisor(s) should strive to create a close relationship with each other from the start and maintain it throughout your degree.
Once established, the supervisor-student relationship is difficult to break. To do so requires the consent of both parties and the willingness of another faculty member to take you on as their student. Because of this, it is crucial that supervisors and students stay in close communication and full understanding with each other.
