Up to 20 Trudeau Scholarships are awarded each year to support doctoral students pursuing research in one or more of the four themes: human rights and social justice, responsible citizenship, Canada and the world, and humans and their natural environment. Trudeau Scholars are highly gifted individuals who are actively engaged in their fields and expected to become leading national and international figures.
Of the applications received, each UBC graduate program may submit up to two nominations to Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Instructions:
Applicants are asked to complete the New Scholarship Candidate Registration form at trudeaufdn.fluxx.io. Once access is granted, the applicants can complete the form and upload their three letters of recommendation and official transcripts.
Applications are submitted online via the Trudeau Foundation application portal; no hard-copy documents are to be submitted.
Transcripts: Applicant must ensure that the IRES Graduate Program Manager has original copies of your official transcripts for all post-secondary institutions on file before the deadline. If your transcripts are not on file, you will need to order more.
There is no graduate program review/nomination process. Applications that are submitted online via the Trudeau Foundation application portal will be forwarded directly to the G+PS.
