We are a student-led group committed to improving the IRES graduate student experience and meeting our students’ needs.
Our mission is to facilitate open lines of communication among the faculty, students, and administration; provide academic support to the student body through professional development activities; facilitate community building within and beyond IRES; and provide advocacy support to graduate students. As an organization our core values are collaboration, mentorship, professional development, communication, interaction, and service. In line with these values, our goals include organizing departmental social and professional events, creating a resource database, and acting as a liaison for communication between students and faculty.
