September 30, 2021: National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

On September 30th, UBC will be observing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Classes are cancelled and university employees who are normally entitled to provincial and federal holidays will receive this day off. The day is designated as an opportunity to ‘recognize and commemorate the legacy of residential schools.’ Please consider attending A Participatory Reading of the 94 Calls to Action from the 2015 Truth and Reconciliation Commission or joining an intergenerational march to mark the national day of Truth and Reconciliation.
