Position Summary
Seeking a full time researcher starting as soon as possible, but no
later than December 2016, to support the research activities and
projects of Professor Diana Liverman in the Institute of the
Environment at the University of Arizona. These include projects on
climate justice, the human dimensions of climate services, and the
impacts of drought and climate change in the Southwest and Mexico.
Candidate should have excellent writing and organizational skills, be
able to work independently on assigned projects, and have a record of
publishing and meeting deadlines. Candidate should be broadly trained
in environmental social science, preferably with a PhD or equivalent
research experience, and familiar with research in climate governance,
political ecology, and climate impacts. The position is currently funded for up to 12 months.

Duties & Responsibilities
€ Provide day to day research support to projects.
€ Collect and analyze data and write reports and papers.
€ Organize meetings and host visitors.

Minimum Qualifications

€ Fluency in Spanish.
