Bio
J.J. Manson is a Postdoctoral Fellow at IRES, working under the supervision of Dr. Terre Satterfield. His current research focuses on how Indigenous peoples who live in urban communities understand nature, urbanity, work, and their economic lives. Broadly, he is interested in how all peoples who live in urban communities use meritocratic, relational, and green governing logics to understand how urban communities are and ought to be constituted, particularly as it relates to greening of urban spaces and access to green infrastructure such as transit.
