Grant applications for community-based projects | UBC Centre for Community Engaged Learning | Deadline: Feb 5, 2023

The UBC Centre for Community Engaged Learning (CCEL) is currently accepting grant applications for community-based off-campus projects that are done in partnership with a BC-based not for profit organization: registered charity, society, cooperative, non-profit or public sector, community organization, Frist Nation, school, municipal, federal or provincial government office.

Examples of projects that undergraduate and Master’s students can apply for grants to fund include: workshops, community-meetings, initiatives, community events, forums, educational, health, environmental or cultural-based projects.

Overview of the Grants process:

1.      Review Grant Eligibility Guidelines

2.      Develop a project idea to tackle a social or environmental issue affecting under-represented or historically marginalized populations in the community

3.      Review application toolkit and compile application package

4.      Submit completed application package by February 5, 2023

5.      Winners announced April 2023

6.      Implement project according to your timeline
