Auxiliary Environmental Impact Assessment Biologist (Bio21)

Location: This position can be performed from any of the following communities subject to space availability and operational requirements of the ministry: Smithers, Prince George, Williams Lake, Kamloops, Cranbrook, Penticton, Vernon, Surrey, Nanaimo or Victoria
We are looking for an Auxiliary EIA Biologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be reviewing Environmental Assessment Applications and Effluent Permit Discharge Applications for major mines. To be successful the applicant should have knowledge of provincial Water Quality Guidelines and Objectives, toxicity tests, environmental impact assessment techniques, water and aquatic life sampling techniques, toxicology and statistical analyses of water quality data. A BSc. is required, and an MSc. is preferred.
