The climate action team of the Ministry of Agriculture is hiring a climate adaptation program advisor to backfill for a maternity leave. This is a temporary opportunity until March 15, 2019, and it may be extended by up to six months.
The climate action team supports the agricultural sector in building resilience to climate change. The team engages in cross-government climate policy development and administers an industry-led climate adaptation program funded by the governments of Canada and B.C. The programming is delivered by the B.C. Agriculture and Food Climate Action Initiative, and has been recognized as the most advanced work of its type in Canada.
This opportunity is available to both external and internal applicants, and is based in Victoria. The closing date for the competition is February 12, 2018.
