The 14th Annual Online Auction is held to expand our readership, raise funds, and promote local businesses and attractions. The funds raised will be used to support BC Studies, a non-profit journal at UBC dedicated to the exploration of British Columbia’s cultural, economic and political life.
About BC Studies
Located at UBC, BC Studies: The British Columbian Quarterly is a non-profit journal dedicated to British Columbia’s cultural, economic and political life. BC Studies is a respected peer reviewed journal, an important publishing venue of original research from a diverse group of scholars, and a training ground for students.
Some recent special issues exploring B.C. history include Nikkei History (no. 192), Histories of Settler Colonialism (no. 190), These Outer Shores: Archaeological Insights into Indigenous Lifeways along the Exposed Coasts of British Columbia (no. 187), and Barkerville (no. 185).
