Assistant Professor, Global Environment, University of Oklahoma

The University of Oklahoma’s Department of International and Area Studies, a multidisciplinary academic department in the expanding College of International Studies, invites applications for a new Assistant Professor position focused on the global environment beginning August 2018. We are particularly interested in candidates working on the historical, social, political, economic or geographic dimensions of environmental issues, climate change, and social movements for addressing environmental and climate challenges.

Applicants should submit a letter of application, statements of teaching and research interests, curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, transcripts, complete teaching evaluations for at least one class, and a writing sample.
